Overview
A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Internet Explorer that could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.
Description
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Microsoft Internet Explorer due to improper handling of objects in memory by the Microsoft scripting engine. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing the user to view a specially crafted website or convincing the user to open a malicious attachment sent via an email or an instant message.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code and could gain the same user rights as the current user of an affected system.
