Authentication Bypass Vulnerability in Hikvision Hybrid SAN/Cluster Storage Products

  • Hikvision Cluster Storage model DS-A71024/48R-CVS - Versions below V1.1.4 (including V1.1.4)

Overview

A vulnerability has been reported in Hikvision Hybrid SAN/Cluster Storage Products which could allow remote attacker to bypass authentication on the targeted device.

Description

The vulnerability exists in Hikvision Hybrid SAN/Cluster Storage Products due to improper parameter handling by the web-based management interface of the affected products. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted HTTP request to the vulnerable devices.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow remote attacker to bypass authentication on the targeted device.
