  • Google Chrome versions prior to 121.0.6167.160 for Mac and Linux

Overview

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Google Chrome which could be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, cause denial of Service (DoS) condition and disclose sensitive information on the targeted system.

Description

These vulnerabilities exist in Google Chrome due to Use after free in Mojo and Heap buffer overflow in Skia. A remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending a specially crafted request on the targeted system.

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, cause denial of Service (DoS) condition and disclose sensitive information on the targeted system.

Solution

Apply appropriate updates as mentioned by the vendor.
